My Cosplays

The Rumor from the Umbrella Academy

Why I chose this Cosplay was simple: I had very rarely seen it done. Admittedly, I had never really listened to much My Chemical Romance, but I had met Gerard Way a few years earlier, and he was a really cool guy. I ended up reading his comic The Umbrella Academy when I found it used at a bookstore, and I was impressed. I helped JD piece together a Seance costume (and he made a FANTASTIC Seance), and I made Hazel and Cha-Cha masks with my friend Amy. We wore these outfits to DragonCon 2011. We plan on doing a full photoshoot with the entire group in the future.
Thanks to my photographer Brandon Evans for the photos.

Pixie of the X-Men

This costume was a lot of fun, which is why I chose it. Admittedly, the wings gave me a bit of trouble (I got such a headache from making that harness underneath the suit!), but once I had those figure out, the rest of the costume was fairly simple. It was worn to DragonCon 2011.

Link from Zelda

As a huge Zelda fan, I had to make this costume. The props were the best part of the costume, IMO. Zelda is full of unique collectibles, and they were fun to make! I'm very pleased with how it turned out.
